Kangana Ranaut On IT Raid On Anurag Kashyap: ‘Is It A Coincidence That Every Stakeholder Of Phantom And Kwan Has Been Accused Of Harassment?’
On Wednesday, the Income Tax Department carried out raids at the properties of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, and Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu. It was also reported that the search has been carried out at Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena’s properties. Hindustan Times reported that the raids were in connection with the Indian film production and distribution company Phantom Films. Meanwhile searches have also been carried out by the Income Tax Department at KWAN talent management agency. Now, Kangana Ranaut has reacted to this, and pointed out that the names involved in the searches were also linked with MeToo Movement earlier.

Kangana Ranaut questioned whether it was a coincidence that the stake holder of Phantom Films and Kwan agency had been accused by women of harassment. “Is it a coincidence that each and every stake holder of Phantom n Kwan has been accused by multiple woman of rape, molestation n harassment. If you don’t respect women, your very moral fibre is wrong, you are a born criminal ,industry killed #MeToo but look one can’t escape karma,” wrote Kangana.

Phantom Films was established by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena, Vikas Bahl in 2011, but was later dissolved in 2018 after co-founder Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment. Kwan founder Anirban Blah was also accused of sexual harassment in 2018.

Meanwhile, India Today had reported that the IT officials claimed that Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap’s phone data has been allegedly wiped out. Kangana reacted to this, and tweeted, “IT department claims data from their phones has been wiped off, money laundering numbers and involvement of stakeholders can be shocking,I had my suspicions when I saw them provoke migrant labourers with some high budget anti India animation advertisements.” ALSO READ: Tejas: Kangana Ranaut Says ‘Jealous Crabs Will Always Try And Pull Us Down’ As She Posts Video Of Her ‘Army Training’ Video – WATCH
